What file formats are used and what tools do I need to read them?

There are several file formats used on our website that require a browser plug-in in order to be able to read them. These file types are described as follows.

• Adobe Reader Files - These files are known as Portaable Document Format (PDF) files. The main advantage of using this file type is that it ensures you will be able to obtain the document in its original printable format. You should be able to obtain the printed version regardless of the printer you are using. There is a link in the footer of each web page that takes you to a site that explains the Adobe Reader and provides a free reader download. This site requires you are using Adobe Reader version 5 or later.
• Macromedia Flash Files - These files provide the capability to deliver content to you with animation, sound, and video. There is a link in the footer of each web page that takes you to a site that explains Macromedia Flash and provides a free player download.
