Go to the Federal Alliance for Safe Homes (FLASH) Brevard Prepares is working hard on Hazard Mitigation for the residents of Brevard. Currently we are completing the priority list for the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program ( HMGP). This is a grant program for projects that will break the cycle of damage - reduce repetitive losses from future natural disasters. The Local Mitigation Strategy Plan has those projects listed by sponsor.
